MILLETERNIA GAMES / YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy policy.
Last updated: 21 September 2026
This notice explains how Milleternia Games uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us about a project.
1. Who to contact
Milleternia Games is responsible for the personal information handled through this website. To ask a privacy question or exercise your rights, email joel.deroche@milleternia-games.com.
2. Information we use
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, message and, if you choose to provide them, your company or organisation and project type. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in the form.
Our hosting service processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages and browser information. The contact form uses a temporary session identifier and anti-spam checks. Its rate limiter stores a keyed, pseudonymous representation of your IP address and submission timestamps, rather than your raw IP address or message.
3. Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, discuss your requirements and take steps towards a project at your request. Where you are considering a contract with us personally, the basis is taking steps before entering a contract. For other enquiries, including those made on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in communicating about our services.
We process necessary technical and anti-spam information for our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website and preventing misuse. We do not use the contact form to enrol you in marketing emails or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not include advertising trackers or analytics tools. The contact page uses an essential session cookie to protect the form and show its submission result.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mg_session | Form security and submission status | Browser session; your browser’s session restore settings may preserve it. |
Blocking this cookie may prevent the contact form from working. You can still contact us directly by email.
5. Who receives information
Enquiries are sent to Milleternia Games by email. Our website hosting and email providers process information to provide these services. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to meet a legal obligation. We do not sell enquiry information.
Where service providers process information outside the UK, applicable data transfer safeguards must be in place. You can contact us for details of the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
6. How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond, discuss the proposed work and maintain relevant business records. If an enquiry becomes a project, relevant correspondence may be retained with the project records. You can ask us to delete enquiry information that is no longer needed, subject to applicable record-keeping obligations.
The form does not save your message in a website database. Session data is temporary and subject to the hosting server’s session cleanup. Rate-limit entries cease to count after 15 minutes for an individual source or one hour for the site-wide limit, and expired entries are removed on the next submission. If no further submission occurs, inactive entries may remain until the server’s temporary storage is cleaned.
Hosting logs, email copies and provider backups follow the retention arrangements of the relevant service. Contact us for details about information relating to you.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access and correct your personal information, request erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive data in a portable format. Some rights have exceptions. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Please email us first if you have a concern. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or to the relevant supervisory authority in your country.
8. Other experiences and updates
This notice covers this company website. Individual games or applications may need their own privacy notices describing the information they use. We may update this notice when our practices change; the date above shows the latest revision.
